FA Cup

The FA Cup, the Football Association Challenge Cup, is a yearly knockout competition in men's domestic English football. The first match was played during the 1871 – 72 season, and it is considered the oldest national football competition in the world. The FA Cup is organized and named after The Football Association (FA), and since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup in recognition of its headline sponsor. Alongside the men's competition, a Women's FA Cup has been held since 1970.
