Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz is a professional basketball team based in Salt Lake City, United States. The team competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a Northwest Division of the Western Conference member. They have played home games at the Delta Center since the 1991–92 season. The Jazz franchise began its journey in the 1974–75 season as the New Orleans Jazz. The team was named in tribute to New Orleans' history of originating jazz music. On June 8, 1979, the Jazz relocated from New Orleans to Salt Lake City.
